“Andrew, you tried, don’t blame yourself,” May comforted me. “We worked out a plan, let’s give it a shot. First, put a few cars into your spatial pocket.”

I descended and started doing as May had asked. I swept a few cars into the ring and flew back up.

“First, let’s test his speed. Throw a few cars next to the nearest tree.”

I flew up to within striking distance, then up to an appropriate height. Then I just pulled one of the cars out and threw it down. As for myself, I was already running off as fast as my legs could carry me. Or rather, as fast as the throne could carry me. Or rather, running away from the throne platform altogether... Anyway — basically, I was running away.
